We are the Chi Capys. We are Chicago-based abolitionists committed to collective liberation and building a world free of police, jails, and prisons. Our merch is for donation. After covering costs, all monies will be donated and put on the books of people who are incarcerated. Free them all.
We've been asked, why capys? We are inspired by the capybaras in Argentina who are making a triumphant return to their native lands which have been developed into a wealthy, gated community. These capybaras are making life difficult for the elites in this community by causing traffic accidents, destroying lawns, and being ungovernable.
